Marginals grow in wet soil at the margin of the pond and can include plants like water iris, calla lilies, taro and water canna.

An ideal garden store keeps a good stock of water plants for sale. You can also get them online where you will find useful information on their maintenance and care as well.

You can also grow water plants in containers, which can be anything with an ideal size of 12-24 inches wide by 12-16 inches deep.
